College study skills, was an interesting subject to be honest. I honestly didn't expect to learn a subject like this when taking TESL.
I find it interesting because it teaches skills you should already have. We're just digging deeper and revising. From time management to handling stress and the most fascinating but confusing was Web 1.0, Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. I'm glad we didn't go that deep.
The coolest assignments were our Social Media Diaries, it always required you to think and speak to present your ideas. It could boost your confidence in speaking but it could also assess your level of thinking.
Event planning was also quite a shock because I always thought when am I going to use these skills? But really, I don't think I need to use them. They're just useful to have when I need them.
Plus, without realising most of the topics we learn in CSS actually intertwine with other subjects. Like citation, and planning events can actually become a process analysis essay
